Personal Data Policy

General

The purpose of this Personal Data Policy is to describe how AGB-Pharma AB (“AGB”, “we”, “our” or “us”) process your personal data.

AGB-Pharma respects your integrity, and all of our personal data processing is conducted in accordance with applicable European and national data protection legislation. This Personal Data Policy is aimed at anyone who uses our website, represents one of our customers or suppliers, or works within the health and medical sector.

When do we process your personal data?

Website users

We may process your personal data in the form of your name and email address, and any personal data that you choose to submit to us when you:

  • Email us with a question or comments, for example
  • Complete one of our forms on our website
  • Submit a job application to us
  • Report side effects to us. For further information on our personal data processing in connection with side effect reporting, please see our personal data policy in conjunction with side effect reporting.

We also use cookies on our website to collect statistics and examine how the website is used. Using cookies may entail the processing of personal data in the form of an IP address. You can find out more about our cookie usage in our Cookie Policy.

The objective of our personal data processing is to enable us to administer and respond to questions that you send us, which is in our legitimate interest. If you have completed one of the forms on our website and thereby ordered information material, for example, we need to know to whom we should send the information to enable us to fulfil your order. If you apply for a job with us, we need access to your information in order to evaluate you as a candidate during the recruitment process and to be able to contact you. It is also in our legitimate interest to be able to collect information about the visitors to our website to enable us to evaluate and improve the website for our visitors.

The lawful basis for the processing is that we must be able to enter into or fulfil agreements. In some cases, the processing is based on a weighing of interests where we have a legitimate interest in processing the personal data to be able to achieve the objective. For example, we have a legitimate interest in improving our website and services to you as well as improving our internal processes in respect of recruitment amongst other things. If you submit a job application but are not given a job with us, you will be given the option of consenting to us saving your application for future recruitment processes. We will otherwise delete these data. You can revoke a previously granted consent at any time whatsoever.

Representative/contact person for one of our customers, suppliers, or partners

We may process personal data about you that we have received from a third party if you are acting as a reference person or contact person for one of our customers, suppliers, or other partners. We may then process your personal data in the form of your name, email address and phone number.

The objective of the processing is to enable us to administer and process our commercial agreements.

The lawful basis for the processing is to enable us to fulfil our obligations in accordance with the commercial agreements into which we have entered. When we process data about you as a contact person, we do so against a background of our interest in being able to administer the commercial agreement. The lawful basis in some cases comprises the fulfilment of a legal obligation, such as a statutory duty to archive invoices.

Medical and health care personnel

If you work within the medical and health care sector, we may need to process your personal data in the form of your name, email address, phone number, place of work, and professional role/job title. Some of the data may be obtained from third parties.

The objective of the processing is to enable us to fulfil agreements into which we have entered, e.g., in connection with interviews with medical and health care personnel. The objective may also be that we wish to send you information, or to invite you to presentations or events that we believe may be of interest to you or the organisation you represent. We are also, in some cases, obliged to process your personal data to enable us to fulfil legal obligations or to comply with the ethical regulations that govern pharmaceutical companies (e.g., when reporting remuneration paid).

The lawful basis for the processing of the personal data is fulfilment of agreements. In some cases, the processing is based on a weighing of interests, e.g., when we send you invitations (you always have the option of getting in touch with us if you no longer wish to be contacted with this type of information). The lawful basis in some cases comprises the fulfilment of a legal obligation.

How long do we save your personal data?

We store your personal for as long as is required to fulfil the objective of the processing in accordance with this Personal Data Policy.

The personal data is anonymised or deleted securely when the personal data is no longer required to fulfil the objective of the processing, when the purpose of the collection and processing of the personal data has been achieved, or when you have revoked your consent or, in applicable cases, contacted us to object to the processing of your personal data. We may keep your personal data for longer in some circumstances, if applicable law says we are required to.
